Serious post, not for kids.

This is NOT easy for me to post, that's how important this is to me!

I posted this on my Facebook. After almost 2 years of people complaining that the virus is over hyped, fake or their human rights are more important than getting vaccinated and wearing masks is uncomfortable… Forget politics, forget Governors taking CDC suggestions and creating mandates. This has nothing to do with that.

Please just read, this is why I am vaccinated and I will wear my mask where its important, not just for my own health

The picture on the left was NOT created by me, I take no credit but the right picture is me. It was a different situation that put me there.

Even if you just scanned this, thank you for reading my blog. I hope you are all safe and healthy.

Love you, God Bless.

UGHHH!!!! Ok, I... 🤦‍♀️ Please read EVERYONE

 Ok... now I’m Mad!!!!

Ok first of all... DISCLAIMER: I don’t have any degrees, I’m not a member of the Clergy, I’m not a politician. I’m a highschool Graduate at best.

Ok, with that out of the way... WTH America?! What are we doing?? First our Black Brothers and Sisters are getting attacked and MURDERED, just because. I’m white, ok? I understand I’m privileged to live here, I stupidly get more respect than my Black friends and family do. You know us white Americans didn’t own the land before America was started. I will admit I don’t know who owned the land in my state that I am on right now. I will stand... in my wheelchair with my incredibly loving, caring, respectful, hard working, salt of the earth black friends and family until I die. I will stand with my amazing BIPOC, LGBTQ+, heck disabled... I’m sorry if I missed any others, like I said, I’m learning.

Speaking of LGBTQ+ WTH is going on with states taking away rights to health care, gender affirming medical care. Aren’t we supposed to get “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”?? Lowering rights, raises depression, Anxiety, SUICIDE?? You want that? Are you thinking we need go back to 6 billion HUMANS again. Let’s keep EVERYONE ALIVE! God took a rib from Adam to make Eve, not separately. We shouldn’t say there is 0% chance of more than 2 genders. Have you ever seen documentaries on YouTube about people who have both DNA and genes??

And be happy when 2 humans, children of God, fall in love. Just let them have happiness. I shouldn’t have to write that, no one should, it should just be known.

Now I’m also Pro Life, but IF an abortion is medically necessary to keep the Mother, Wife, Surrogate, ALIVE, that’s there choice, not the governments. Most women care about the child enough to let the baby stay alive be put into a loving, caring family and grant the wish of a child for anyone who had to go through that medically necessary abortion to stay alive and couldn’t bare children anymore from it... See where I’m going here?

Last, I will put this here...

Galatians 3:28, KJV: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." ... For you are all one in Christ Jesus."

Ok not last, one more thing

We are not moving forward in a positive way? Are you thinking we’ve gone so far from how God made the earth that we need to reverse everything to the way it was during Noah?? NEWS FLASH, it was the Devil who convinced Adam and Eve to take a bite of the apple, or pear, whichever you learned. Anyways, they messed things up and made us sinners. God created the flood to take out everyone except Noah and his family that loved and accepted others.

We’ve all done wrong, but we went the correct direction to “Freedom for all”, but have began to crash again. God didn’t say (to my knowledge)  in the Bible to attack or MURDER ANYONE because they are different in ANY ways. Now we are reversing the clock? Are we all trying to reverse aging with it? Why doesn’t everyone just start running around without any clothes on, God created us as naked, and said “It is Good”.

 Advice to Fans.

I mean a fan of anyone... like any celebrity.

Ok I’m 28, turning 29 this year. I’m a theater/musician kid. I played cello for 22 years, and I’ve called theater my 2nd home for my whole life. I have met a few “celebs” ( they are amazing humans). If you want to be popular in school... OR be friends with them and gain their trust, that’s my choice. I would rather be life long friends.

FIRST! Safety is KEY! Don’t climb and hide in their cars, don’t run up to them, anywhere. Don’t push each other out of the way to get near them. CHILL!

2. Don’t ask for an autographs, that’s a one time thing, it’s a piece of paper. I mean yeah it’s worth some money online, I be lost my autographeds to be honest, sad but not the end of the world. BUT a friendship is forever and PRICELESS...

Or ask for one, I get it, it’s cool, I won’t judge you. If they are giving them out then they are cool with it.

3. You could ask for a picture but first calmly CALMLY say why you love/like them. They are HUMAN, give them a memorable conversation then you can get a picture to look back at.

4. Don’t pay fan pages to show support for them. Take lessons, voice/acting lessons from them, be a patron, request them on/in your favorite YouTube channel or orchestra or band or concert hall stage. It gives them a job, that’s a win for them... you can go there... you can pay to do VIP and meet them, a win for you, Tech for them on Zoom... all of them help them pay their bills, show them they matter, and their talent actually means something, and you gain a cool friend.

If you worked for the President of the United States of America and only talked to them about getting a raise for all your work but don’t have proof of who you are, what you’ve done... you won’t get the raise. I DONT think of celebs as a “promotion”, it’s just good to not treat them like someone who is unreachable like someone not from earth.

I met my FAVORITE actor/voice over actor when I was like 10. David Ogden Stiers (Cogsworth, Ratcliffe, Jumbaa Jukiba, MASH, Star Trek, etc.)  He was the ass conductor (HIS WORDS) of an Orchestra that my Mom is a substitute clarinetist for, which we love. Because I didn’t ask for lots of “favors” I got to learn a lot from him, about working in Hollywood, what directors look for, the proper names of things in the industry. 16 years as friends really does mean more than anything.

I’m taking voice lessons from my favorite voice on Broadway (Elena Shaddow) she’s also one of my favorite people ever. FaceTime with her and her family outside of lessons leave me smiling for days.

I hope this is helpful, I know this whole quarantine thing is so hard... use this time to safely support people in the arts, and maybe become friends.

God Bless, have a good day... I’m going to a Shoshana Bean zoom Masterclass. Leave a comment about a cool friend you have

 WHAT IS HAPPENING??

We are supposed to be UNITED STATES. All this is giving me highschool click vibes, except people are bleeding now. BLEEDING because of an election. This is like a kid being beat up by bullies because he/she voted for the other school class president in elementary school. 1 man ruined any chance of ever being re-elected, in 1 DAY!!!!!! Pray for everyone on both sides, don’t fight each other, go home. Have we forgotten we are in a world wide pandemic?? There is no room in hospitals, no room in anywhere. Broadway might become triage, we don’t know how far away the back of the protesters goes. Not for only COVID but because of this war.

GO HOME!!!!!

Love you, God Bless

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

 2020 Has Been Strange...

Literally only God knew this year would happen like it did.

FIRST OF ALL.

I want to say I’m so sorry to everything who has lost loved ones because of COVID. You are in my thoughts, if I still have comments feel free to leave names of them so we can remember together. No pressure, but your welcome too. I have gotten to do so many fun things this year even though we have been stuck at home.

Whoever invented Zoom, I would like to shake your hand... oh wait... actually I just want to say THANKYOU!!

Our Local theaters started doing Zoom plays, We had several of our theater family write short plays, some directed, some acted, or they did all 3. And the longer we went the more advanced we’ve gotten..

I got to reunite with a friend I met in 2016. If you want to take voice lessons as a Soprano, I highly recommend Elena Shaddow. They are on Zoom, Coco Roro (Jessica Vosk’s name for COVID) can’t touch you.

I’ve also gotten to join a fun new website called Happy Holidayopolis.. please come visit, it’s FREE!! Just make your own simple account. You also need Zoom, all the live events are over Zoom and fully interactive. They started celebrating with Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Years. That’s just the start, we are going to try and give all holidays some love. Here’s the link, we are excited to meet you.

https://happyholidayopolis.com/happy-holidayopolis/

When posting this I’m 2 hours away from New Years. I hope and pray things get better for all of us.

Love you, God Bless and have a great New Year

Soap Box Time... sorry.

 Soap Box Time

Ok I normally don't ever post something like this and this message may self Destruct if no one reads it... but just because the country is divided, we shouldn't wish or celebrate when someone, anyone gets some sickness like COVID, or that they have pre-exsisting conditions that make it harder. Please don't post that you're happy or he deserves it, or Karma whatever. Haven't we all been taught to not say anything at all if its not good or nice?

We need to all be on each others sides, we know what division can cause. We cant afford anymore wars or lost lives.

If you don't pray, then think positive thoughts for EVERYONE who has COVID or any life threatening disease. They are already stressed and feeling not very hopeful. They dont need to see people celebrating, or reading that they deserves it. You wouldn't want someone writing bad things about you when you're really down, do you? I have been on life-support, which is way more uncomfortable than being on Oxygen, but both are still NOT FUN at all. Having people on my side gave me the energy and will to live. And not talking about my condition online made the time go faster.

Sending prayers for the current President and anyone suffering.

Ok, I will stop...

Have a good day, spread love. God Bless

A smile is more contagious than Coronavirus 😊😁

Ok... this virus is creating a lot of problems and not just for those who have it. If you have it and your quarantined, I’m so sorry, KEEP GOING! Don’t give up. And for everyone else stay safe but please PLEASE be nice and considerate. I have only seen pictures and video of all the missing toilet paper, food and supplies. I know that everyone needs a good amount of EVERYTHING while being stuck at home... but if you hear or see someone in your neighborhood that needs a roll or two, share.

You know what can I suggest something? If you happened to buy 1extra pack of toilet paper, go to someones house and if you can, put 1 roll, not a pack but a roll, in there mailbox. just until the shelves restock at stores, then go out and buy more when it’s needed. THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION. And by putting a roll in the mailbox, you are staying a safe distance from each other. AND if the person who gets your roll has an extra roll they can give one to someone else in their mailbox. There won’t be a shortage of TP with all the trees in the world. And maybe put a post it note on it with a nice note, or a big smiley face or a nice drawing. It can be anonymous or not. Sharing a smile or a nice message doesn’t HAVE to be face to face.

In church we hear about sharing Gods love that he has for us, you can minister to anyone in anyway and God will do the rest.

If you have all you need and no extra, THATS AWESOME!! Keep it, survive. This isn’t posted to offend or embarrass anyone. It’s just another excuse for you to get to know your neighbors you may not know and make some great friendships.

I don’t know if anyone would try this, but if enough people around the world do this we will all be prepared for this and no one will be having to fight for the last package of toilet paper leaving others with nothing.

WOW!

Today Trump was voted Impeached just hours ago.
Ok I will say I didn’t vote for him, it was my second time voting and I don’t understand everything that come with a presidency or how anyone knows what‘a “right” for a country. I’m not happy or sad about this. I’m confused.

All I can say is pray for President Trump. I’m sure he feels hurt and offended by all this. More than anything this is embarrassing for someone to be charged, judged and impeached in front of the entire country. If Trump read this I would say, “I personally would of handled things differently, but I’m very sorry this has happened.”
That’s all I have to say, he wasn’t my first choice but he was still one of our presidents and I’m sure he had good intentions.

Please leave nice comments, love you all.

Have a good school year!

Have a good school year!

I know I'm late, school has already started, but I really wanted to post this.
Kids, did you know teachers don't live at school and you can be friends with them?

My 3/4th grade teacher was nice enough to let me be her flower girl, I still visit with her and whoever is still at my elementary school. I visit my middle school while my Mom teaches, I love visiting there. I get to see my high school teachers in and out of theaters and churches. I am FB friends with almost all my teachers and some college professors. I have lost contact with a few, I wish I could still talk to and I hope they are ok and having a good life.

KIDS! When you go to school, try to enjoy it. Be good to your teachers and staff. They want what's best for you. I regret not being nice or a good student to everyone of them, Im human, I wasn't the best. Yes your grades do matter try hard in class, but don't forget to be nice to everyone, students and ALL staff. You might make life long friends.

Ok rant over.

Thanks for reading this. Love you all. Comment if you have any fun stories about school. Only nice comments please

Best year of my life.

Best Year of my Life!

First of all, God gets all the glory for giving me the life I have. This last year was unreal... unforgettable. A blessing

10 years ago I never thought I would get what I was given this past year, ever. Especially where my mind and heart were. After 16 surgeries, countless procedures and years of bullying at school, I was ready to quit... Let me explain

At the age of 10, I was planning how to end my life. The only time I didn't think about it was the weekend. Saturdays and Sundays I got to spend all day with family and friends that at the time, I thought they were the only people who cared, and they did/do. Church was helpful, but outside of my church and family and close friends, I thought no one else cared. I had what seemed like so many negatives in my life from all the health issues and quite a lot of bullying at school, that life wasn't worth it at the time.
It took me years to admit that I had these thoughts to any of my friends and family. It took counseling to help me even admit it. When an acting group/club/team/etc. opened up at church I jumped at the chance to join. I always felt comfortable in a live theater. My Grandpa did opera for years, I got to sit in a lot of rehearsals and shows. We want to shows at our local theater and sometimes I became an audience plant, being included in someway was awesome... It still is 😂.
I wrote another blog saying theater saved my life, I meant to say God saved my life by introducing theater to me.
So why was this last year the BEST EVER? Well, I got cast in 3 shows... THREE!! I don't care what size of role I got, I prefer "small" but would take anything. Im so happy that I was included. Music Man and The Little Mermaid were dream shows, Love and Information was a total surprise but I loved it. I learned I can memorize lines.
I haven't really had those bad thoughts since I joined theater 9 years ago. Maybe while having migraines, but that passes. Having the love and support and the distraction of focusing on theater has helped a lot.
I have learned a lot and my mental health is in a lot better place.

Thats all. Im Thankful for my life, for God and ALL of my families, blood or not, we are all family.

Valentines Day

VALENTINES DAY!

I can’t believe I have to go through another Valentine’s Day alone. The first Valentines Day I thought would be great ended up a disaster. Please comment below if I’m not alone in this. I just want a good, normal Valentine’s Day with no heart break or boredom. I look forward to seeing other people’s engagements and hear about fun dates they have had. I’m hoping that I will get to join in on all that fun soon.

Sorry if this random, and short. I just had to get it out. I really do hope everyone else has a fantastic Valentines Day.
Love you!

One thing I'm thankful for...

First of all, I have looked into the whole cookie law thing for Europe... I don't get it. Please comment down below what I'm supposed to do.
Second, Hi I'm back for now its been a while, I'm glad you're here reading this. If you're not able to Im sorry, I'm not sure how to help, but check your computers cookies and security options.
AND NOW

One thing I'm thankful for...

A year ago, I forget what date, I was being driven to a hospital Unconscious but throwing up. When I got there I went into cardiac arrest, I wasn't alive 2 times for 15 minutes. The doctors had to drill in my leg to get a blood sample. I ended up on life support, a couple days later I woke up, then I was in a coma for a few days.

This year, Im healthy. Im off oxygen and off Antibiotics for Pneumonia. Tonight I'm going to a play rehearsal and I'm in the cast. It's my 2nd show this year.
Im thankful to just be alive.

God is so good, I was given very little percentage to live. If you dont know or have a relationship with Jesus, (no judgement) I highly suggest him. I have SO many health problems, I shouldn't be here. God has gotten me through 16 surgeries, I don't know how many procedures and so many rough times including almost committing suicide. He has a plan for all your lives, he made you, we are his children.

I have so many people to thank again for prayers and visits in the hospital. I'm so happy I didn't die in the hospital or before.

Be thankful for what you have, WHATEVER it is.

Love you all, leave a comment saying what you're thankful for.

Politics on Social Media

Politics on Social Media

Im someone who is on Social Media all day. In fact the fastest way to get in contact with me is not calling or texting me... its private messaging me on FB, direct messaging me on Twitter, posting on my wall, comment under my comment on someones youtube video... I get it instantly. I look at as many post that I can, I never know what happy announcements someone will make. I typically don't put on filters.

My least favorite posts though are on POLITICS. Im not interested in politics in general. I don't understand how the system works exactly, but I have voted 2 times so I have a right to voice my opinions. I won't say who or what I voted for, but the end results weren't what I hoped, and I'm not alone. THATS OK!! Whats not ok is all the hate and discouragement that has come out of it.

Aren't we supposed to be ONE NATION UNDER GOD? Lets support each other online, let people say an opinion and try to rationally come to some middle ground. I have seen posts that friendships ended because there were differences of opinion. That seems backwards, we need to move forward. The government makes the decisions and are the ones who sign the papers that control where our future will go. The best thing we can do TRY and be somewhat supportive, keep them in our thoughts and prayers and when the government isn't doing something at the moment, like visiting or helping in a disaster is help by doing our part. Raise money, send supplies... offer love and prayer.

Trump hasn't said or done things that we agree with or believe are best for the nation and how we are as allies with other countries around the entire world. Would anyone know whats best? NO! Especially if people aren't showing support but telling someone they are doing everything wrong. No president in history were/are perfect, they can't be.

Only God knows what is going to happen, on his timing. He's watching and controlling everything. Im not saying blame God, or Trump or anyone for whats going on now. Don't let whatever is happening ruin what are amazing friendships and relationships. Pray for Gods will to be done, show as much support for our system as you can, share love and don't judge a book by its cover. Thats whats important.

Please leave a kind comment below, God Bless. Love you guys

🇺🇸The Day is here!🇺🇸

Today is Inaguration Day. Lots of things happening and lots of destruction today. This is Trumps first day as president and all people want to do is make it about themselves. I accidentally slept through Trump being sworn in and his Inaguration speech. I saw the grenades, windows being smashed and that not many people attended his swearing in. Maybe people saw that happening, but it's still sad. Our new president could use everyone's prayers. He may have been elected but that's not the end, the battle isn't over for him. Now he has to back up everything he has said he wants to change and actually do it. It was all talk before now comes the actions. Who knows if his plans will make America great, but we never know what will happen with any president. Only God knows what will happen. This was/is all God's plan, he knows what's best for his children.

Just want to say, after the fact, I didn't vote for Trump! But God did, let God Change America for the better.

This is a short blog, all I wanted to say is PRAY!!! Pray for Trump and his family the next 4 years. Don't send hate or post rude things. He was elected to help and support America, we should return the favor.
Love you all! Give a hug to someone today. God Bless

🎄🎅ITS CHRISTMAS TIME!

Merry Christmas, Hannaka, Quanza, etc...

Im so happy for Christmas time. We don't have a tradition list that MUST be completed because... WHY?? We don't want to have my season scheduled, I just want to enjoy it. We don't do presents anymore. We go to church, but we do that every week. We watch christmas Movies but we do that all year. I spent a month in the hospital and had 6 surgeries and my Mom says all I wanted to watch was "Elf"... everyday.

But I do have reasons I like it.
1. Extra fun church services
2. NO SCHOOL
3. family time
and..
4. Sadly... Santa Clause.

Yes, Im 24 and I like Santa. I love the characters, like at Disneyland. I know they are just an actor in a costume, but as soon as I see them it feels magical. I want to get in line and tell Santa my wish list. When I was little, I thought my grandpa was santa. He had a white beard and mustache and white hair. I think I was convinced he was Grandpa 364 days of the year and Santa on Christmas. He never wore red but still lol.

I know this blog is short but it happens. For all of you who celebrate Christmas or any of the holidays, what are your favorite traditions? Do you have any traditions? Leave a comment below, what you love about Christmas. Have a great day. Love you all, God Bless.

Theater saved my life 😞🎭😊

I have been around theater and music my whole life. I thought it was fun to watch my friends and family on stage and just a fun hobby I might look into later in life. I didnt know how much it would really impact me.
I went through a lot of medical issues, it became the norm, but then came the bullying. It all started in preschool, and it never stopped. I tried to be a positive person, thinking maybe its just that im in pain a lot, maybe I show my pain too much. I tried to make friends and show my disability isnt who I am. At 7yrs. old, on my way home from school, I started thinking about how worthless I felt. I looked at the river we lived by, and wondered if it would matter if I wheeled myself off the dock and just let myself drown. I was done with all the hurtful comments, fluids and meds being flushed in my veins, all the surgeries I went through and would go through. I thought, if im in heaven, I wont feel pain anymore. I became suicidal, but was too afraid to even go through with it. I couldnt tell my family, friends, church. I didnt know what to do. My family is amazing and they have never let me down, they have supported me through everything, there wasnt a good reason I couldnt tell them, I just couldnt though.

My grandpa was in quite a few operas at the time. I remember sitting in the audience during rehearsals and live shows, weirdly enough I looked for mistakes, it seemed natural. I found that my pain went away when I was in the theater. After my grandpa stopped theater to travel and take care of my grandma, I didnt spend much time there. I focused more on my music career and getting through life. We would go to the local theater every once in a while to see family friends, it was comforting.

I tried taking a theater class in middle school but wasnt cast in any shows. I would help with props and the sets. I fell more in love with it all, I also found it easy to memorize whole scripts, even if I wasnt supposed to. In school, I was still being bullied. I still felt helpless, no matter what I said or did, I was a target. I still had the plan to drown myself but I just couldnt. God had plans for me, even when I didnt see any future.

I didnt get to do any theater in highschool. I couldnt get onstage and I also needed to focus on getting my diploma and choosing what career I really wanted. In one of my classes, we took a career test, the first job it recommended was acting. After I graduated highschool I decided to try auditioning again. I went through several auditions, never getting cast. In 2011, I auditioned for "Pirates of the Chemotherapy" at ACT. I wasnt cast in the show, but later that night was offered a job backstage. I was so excited, but when i was offered the offstage voice in the show, I just cried. I was so happy, someone finally didnt judge me for my disability, I felt like everyone else for once. I will never ever forget the feeling I had of being part of a cast.

I have been volunteering at the same theater for the last 5 years and I have never regretted one second. My theater family looks at me like I'm just family. I feel like I can be myself, we all can. I have opened up a lot, I finally was able to tell my family about my suicidal thoughts and they helped me get the help I needed. After my last stay in portland, thinking it was all over, it was nice to know I could tell them everything. I got counciling and I didnt stop doing theater. The more work I did, i had less pain and depression. I feel like I owe everything to the theater and the family I have there. I will do anything I can for them. I thank God every day for theater and my love of acting. Without theater I dont think I would feel like I have a future.

I hope this all makes since, thanks for reading! Let me know if there is anything about me you want to know, I am an open book. Please comment anything or ask me any questions.
God Bless, love you all so much!!

A Place I know all to well

Have you ever spent a night in a hospital? I have stayed in quite a few. I should have enough points to have a weekend stay for no charge. I mostly stay in the Doernbecker Children’s Hospital in Portland. Now, I know its called children’s hospital, but if someone has Spina Bifida at any age, we get to stay in their geriatric suite. Each room has a view of Portland. Visitors can enjoy the view in the hallways. From my vantage point in bed,
I just admire what they have done with the ceilings..
The nurses are very friendly and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible; they bring your hot meals to your rooms. The menu is long, I highly recommend the jello. The nurses would try to make the most of an embarrassing situation. There were some sanitation hazards that each nurse lovingly blamed on each other. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hang out with someone that has movie star good looks? Well I got to, and he helped me use the restroom. Yes, some of the nurses were cute, but unfortunately they were all married.
There was an activity room with movies and game consoles to check out. After 5 brain surgeries, only one movie was needed, Elf. I played Minecraft for the first time and my neurosurgeon came in and hung out with me; he laughed when I laughed, so I guess it was with me. Since they gave us the geriatric suite, my parents were allowed to stay in the room. Sometimes they would walk down the hill and have dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. They would bring me back a doggy bag. I didn’t feel like a doggy, but I used the bag.
Now if it seems like that isn’t enough details to describe the actual hospital, well its because I don’t really see much. I get rolled in and out of my room for surgery or tests on my professional grade air mattress; which was only inflated when I was plugged into a room wall socket. In the rooms, or at least mine, there were some green stars and a half moon painted above me. They look and sound simple, but at night they glowed in the dark. I was there so long that the cards and pictures from family and friends became Get-Well wallpaper.
The thing I really enjoyed was being a medical student subject. Why not make getting an IV, a learning experience. On certain days I was able to get visits from therapy animals. I didn’t need the therapy, I just wanted to see the animals. There was a cat named Huck Finn that came once or twice a week. He was a really fluffy brown and black cat that was driven around on a rolling cart because he didn’t want to walk. He was very calm and when I pet him he would fall asleep. His owner said I was the first person to put him to sleep in 3 years. I took that as a compliment.

All jokes aside, it’s hard to get surgeries and feel sick most days, but Doernbecker does a great job trying to make it easy. I now don’t have much of a personal bubble; you really can’t when you’re in a hospital. It’s a nice place to stay, but not so nice I want to go back.

GOD BLESS AMERICA !!

I have seen and heard so many things about the elections, and I don't know exactly how to feel about any of it. I hope no one is offended by this but here is my opinion. I remember when Obama ran the first time. SO MANY people said things and doubted him or his ability to be president, because of his race among other things. He was discriminated against. In my opinion, things started out... crazy, but things got better. Then he was elected again, things got even better, people got more jobs, insurance became more available and he ended the war and brought our troops home to their families. Marriage equality happened, in my opinion it needed to happen. Not every decision that was made maybe ended the way it could of, but that is bound to happen. There is always a plus and minus in everything. There are always issues with money, and other things. That's not the presidents fault or anyones fault, IT HAPPENS! I have my own opinion of who I'm voting for, unless one of my readers wants to start a discussion, which I'm open to, I don't feel its the right place. What I want to say after all of this is LET GOD TAKE CARE OF IT!!

Now I know everyone has a different idea of a higher power, and who they believe and follow. I personally was raised in a christian home. God created the heavens and the earth, he created you and me, and he knows the future and has a plan in place for every ones lives.

ANYWAYS!!

We may be voting by looking at a ballot then checking some boxes, but God has the ultimate say and has a plan for his people. I grew up as I'm sure many kids did, saying the pledge of allegiance every morning in elementary school and I went to a public school, I never went to a private or christian school. They felt it was important to say the whole pledge.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

In 1954, Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add "Under God" in.

In Martin Luther Kings "I Have a Dream" speech, he says:

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

AND

"...And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:
Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Our historical leaders all seem to agree in one way or another that God is an important part of the Idea of freedom and our countries existence. Instead of arguing, insulting, judging each other and our Candidates, because its not our place. I feel we should encourage them and show support to the candidates and each other. We should really listen to them just consider each decision with an open mind. God knows who will win these elections and why, who are we to question his plan?

Stop protesting and leaving hate comments online, and start supporting each other as a whole, because whatever is coming wont be easy whoever wins. We will all need to stick together and get through the hard times as one Nation.

I hope this all makes sense, I felt that I needed to post this. It made sense in my head. Its been on my mind for quite some time and took a few days to write this. This was not a school assignment, I just wanted to put it out there. I truly believe if we leave America's future in Gods hands, we can truly have freedom. God put Trump and Clinton in this election for some reason, I have no idea why, but he did. Lets trust in him and thank him for every good thing that has happened in America.

The elections are coming quick, its not to late.
Whoever or whatever you believe in, don't leave them out of the process.

Please feel free to comment on anything, Im open to opinions always. I would love to hear your thoughts.
I love you guys! God Bless!!

How did I get so lucky??

I was blessed to have worked/volunteerd in two shows this season at the Albany Civic Theater. I have met and gained more theater family and learned even more than before. Now that Shrek the Musical and Senior of the Sahara are done, I get to see what's next in theater. I already know of some shows I get to work in next season.
I have also gotten to join some committees, one of them I am so excited to be on again this year. The Big night committee. Big night is possibly our most exciting events of the entire year. Its our theaters version of the Tony's. Lots of volunteers get awards and recognition for their commitment. Our past season shows directors present some awards. Some of the shows also get to perform songs from past or future shows. Last years theme was our version on Guy Noir. We had a murder mystery game and everyone dressed for the occasion. Im not sure this years theme but its always so fun.

Outside of theater its been crazy. My Mom has been playing in quite a few concerts. My favorite concert, so far, was the Newport Symphony's "A Broadway Romance". It featured Broadways own Elena Shaddow and John Cudia. This was a real treat, living in Oregon. I have only seen "Wicked" and "Promises, Promises" in New York. We also saw "Porgy and Bess" on tour, a very good friend of ours was in the cast, which made it was even more special that it was my first time seeing a broadway tour.
Ok so, Phantom of the Opera has to be one of my all time favorite soundtracks, Its up there with Bonnie and Clyde and Newsies. BUT I have never seen it live, I have only seen the 25th anniversary when it was on Netflix. I had also never met one of broadways own phantoms... until I got to meet John Cudia. I know he has done other shows like "Les Miserables" and West Side Story, which are amazing, but Phantom is my personal favorite of all of his work. I love John's voice and I am a big fan. Sitting in the front row and hearing "Music of the Night" live was... unreal...magical. I never really knew what it would be like until I experienced it. I guess thats what I love most about "Live" performances. You never know whats going to happen until you sit in the audience. Elena Shaddow, who has been in Les Miserables, Fiddler and much more, was equally amazing. Her smile is infectious, and her voice is so gorgeous. She is also such a sweet person. Neither of them were too busy to talk to anyone, even unimportant little me.

Now, as Im writing this, my mom is playing with an orchestra in Lincoln City. Today is the third and final concert of their festival. All three concerts are have been different. Today is the fourth of July. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!! They are also filming interviews for a video. I got to help by holding the boom mic. I didn't know they were so heavy, but wow what an experience. I have always loved watching how videos and movies are filmed, but they make it look easier than it actually is.

The past few months have been amazing and I hope to keep these memories forever. I hope to keep my new friendships for life, and I plan too. I hope you all have had a great day and I really am going to try to post more, but life happens.

Feel free to like and comment about your amazing experiences and favorite memories. I want to get to know my readers and new friends. Thanks for taking time out to read this and please feel free to ask me questions or tell me how I can improve.

God Bless!!
